In memory of the deads in the World War II.

The Government building of Clausthal has made the Flag downward to show that Germany was guilty of the World War II.

Heavy snow falled down again in Clausthal!

Heavy snow has falled on the grounds of Clausthal. It's hard to walk on snow. But the people in the town has done their Jobs very fast to make the city get rid of heavy snow!

People sweep snows in front of their houese and businesses.

Machines are also on the work. In German, it gives me an impression that almost every job can be done by machines.

Most of the roads are now like this.

We must go shopping, because we are hungry.

It's a Benz, but looks like a Chinese FAW.

Good weather, good mood.

The weather today is very good, I start my trip at 10:30 in the morning from Clausthal. The sky is cloudy in the morning but rather clear in the afternoon.

The concert hall of Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

This is the turning point between Clausthal and Zellerfeld. Clausthal is ahead of me.

The old big church in Zellerfeld.

Street of Zellerfeld. Almost all streets in Zellerfeld are the same. Zellerfeld is small and most for tourist and inhabitation.

One of the skating zone in Zellerfeld.

A small lake in Zellerfeld. According to official statistics, there're approximately more than 60 lakes in the area of Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

It's very beutiful, isn't it? After seeing the scene, I concluded that Zellerfeld looks more attractive than clausthal for it's beautiful scenes.

Wide view of the lake.

The skating path in Zellerfeld.

How about this? Very amazing that I saw the highest mountain in Harz, the Brocken.

Hiking to Osterode.

Last Saturday My brother and I walked to Osterode. It took 4 hours to get there. Our first stop was Buntenbock, which is not far from the south of Clausthal.

On our way to the destination, the landscape were almost all the same as below.

We walked along the highway. There was no walking path along the road, but as we walked on it, we didn't head back anymore.

This is from the north area of Osterode.

Finally we arrived at Osterode.

This is the walking zone in the centre of the city, but since it was Sunday, all shops were closed.

A mordern architecture in the city.
